Louis XVI-style double-sided mahogany desk – circa 1900

Elegant Louis XVI-style double-sided desk, crafted from mahogany, circa 1900.

It rests on four tapered, fluted legs, topped with brass feet. The front features five drawers, including one large central drawer and four drawers arranged on either side.

The desk features a beautiful top covered in fawn-colored leather, accented with gilded filigree. It is equipped with two side extensions, also covered in leather, which provide a generous work surface. When both extensions are extended, the desk reaches a length of 2 meters.

The cabinetwork is of fine quality, notably featuring drawers assembled with dovetail joints. The brass lock plates and handles elegantly complement the design.

As a double-sided piece, it can be perfectly placed in the center of a room.
