Louis XVI Daytime Happiness Desk
A Louis XVI style bonheur du jour desk dating from the early 19th century. The bonheur du jour is crafted from Cuban mahogany, embellished with brass stringing. It features a white marble top with a gallery, in excellent condition. The upper section opens with two mirrored doors and two small drawers. The drop-front is lined with brown leather in good condition. Two larger drawers are located in the lower section. The desk rests on tapered legs with bronze sabots.
