Trumeau in carved wood lacquered beige gray and gilded with gold leaf.
An elegant production from the late Louis XVI period(18th century, circa 1780-90), our trumeau is decorated with a trophywith ribbons and laurel leaves. The mirror is framed in carved and gilded woodwood frame with a heart and pearl motif.
Original gold leaf gilding, 2-piece sparkling mercury mirror, also 18th century.
A highly decorative and spectacular piece; it is tall but narrow, which presentsmulti-purpose: it can be placed on a mantelpiece, on a piece of furniture betweenbetween 2 windows.
All in excellent condition. The gilding has been cleaned by our gilder.
