Bronze cork cutter - 19th centuryA tool used in pharmacies to soften corks to make it easier to stopper bottles. This one is made of bronze and represents a lizard. More classically, cast iron pieces are found representing a crocodile. Finely decorated on the back (scales) and on the sides (ribs). Curved tail to improve its aesthetics. Very good condition, complete, no breakages. Length 28 cm, weight 1.9 kg
