"Revolutionary Earthenware Plate From Islettes - Late 18th Century"
Revolutionary plate in Faience des Islettes - Late 18th century. Polychrome plate, low fire, traces of pernettes. Colors and flowers on the rim characteristic of Islettes. Decorated with three orders (spade, sword and crozier) crossed on a fleur-de-lis, all topped with the royal crown. In the lower part, a pennant with the words "long live the nation." No repairs. Note peripheral enamel chips and a 2 cm crack across (see photos). Diameter 22 cm
