"Saint Clement Earthenware Holy Water Font"
Earthenware Holy Water Font from Les Islettes - Early 19th Century. This polychrome earthenware holy water font, fired using the low-fire technique, is characteristic of this manufacturer's style. It features a hole at the top of the cross, a ribbed spout with a pointed finial, and a heart surmounted by a cross. Some examples are reproduced in the reference book (see photos). They are in perfect condition; only the white one has a crack. There is no restoration or chipping. They can be sold individually for €70 for the polychrome one and €35 for the white one.
