Important Louis XV period walnut cabriolet armchair. Fiddle-shaped backrest carved with roses and foliage at the top. Beautifully molded and animated armrests resting on their whip-shaped candlesticks. A lively and sculpted belt with roses and foliage echoing the backrest. It rests on four curved legs, two of which are molded and sculpted at the front. It is covered in a plain rusty-colored velvet in used condition.
