Large Ormolu And Crystal Lantern For Vestibule
Large ormolu and crystal plate vestibule lantern. It opens through a small door with an ormolu key-knob giving access to five arms of light. Its five sides are glazed with double-curved curved glass and topped by a small pediment with rocaille motif.
Each upright is fitted with three crystal plaques and rosettes at the top and three crystal plaques and rosettes at the base. The inner rod supporting the five light arms is attached to the lantern by a hook. It is removable. Attractive ormolu clasp decoration on the base. Electrification recently redone.
