An elegant mahogany and mahogany-veneer console table stamped “Nicolas WEINANDY,” a certified cabinetmaker to the Dowager Duchess of Orleans , who was based at 37 Rue Caumartin between 1817 and 1822. This console table rests on two “Jacob” legs at the front and two straight legs with crossbars at the back. It features a front drawer and an intermediate shelf. It is topped with a mahogany tabletop. In good overall condition, with two minor, normal-wear restorations. Original lock.
