A beautiful bronze sculpture titled "The Flower Woman." Henri Godet was a famous French sculptor born on March 5, 1863, in Paris and who died in Vincennes on October 14, 1937. There have been several variations of “La femme fleur.” This one is titled “La femme tulipe,” one of the rarest and oldest (1900–1905). It is easily recognizable by the quality of the facial modeling, the great delicacy of the hair rendered without any softness, as well as the sharp edges and precise chiseling of the petals. This bust sits on a later marble pedestal. A very fine work by Henri Godet from the very early 20th century, at the height of the Art Nouveau period. Bronze sculpture signed :
