JAPAN - Edo period (1603 - 1868). Full samurai armor. KABUTO with thirty-two lamellas in wrought iron. THEHEN NO ANA (opening at the top) in gilded copper with three steps. SHIKORO (neck cover) with four steps in black lacquered iron and blue silk braid. MABI SA SHI (the visor) in wrought iron. FUKIGAESHI (the fins) in black lacquered iron. WAKIDATE simulating two large gilded horns and MAEDATE in cut copper representing the straight sword Suken of Fudo Myo-O framed by two horns. MEMPO (samurai half-mask) in wrought iron, pronounced chin, mobile nose, pierced nostrils, horsehair mustache, sweat hole under the chin. YODARE-KAKE (gorget) with three steps in wrought iron and light blue silk braid. TAKAHIMO adorned with the Naito clan mon.DO (breastplate) with six lamellas in wrought iron and green silk braiding.SODE (shoulder guards) with six degrees in black lacquered metal and blue silk braiding.KOTE (arm guards) in chainmail (oxidation), lacquered iron plates and green silk.KUSAZURI (skirt) and HAIDATE (cuissards) with five rows in metal and green and white silk braiding.SUNEATE (greaves) in lacquered iron plates, chain, fabric and leather.Additional photos and details on request. Sold with a GUSOKU BITSU (transport chest) in wood and metal reinforcements decorated with a clan mon (wear) and with its presentation stand.
