Louis XVI style terminal clock in white and purple marble. The base decorated with gilt bronze friezes topped by 4 columns framing the dial, supporting the top part where we find a basin surrounded by garlands. Enamel dial signed "Le Maire Demouy - A Paris au 10 rue de l'université" with Roman numerals for the hours, railway for the minutes with Arabic numerals every 5 minutes. Gilt brass hands, chased and pierced with fleur-de-lis motif. Paris movement with hour and half-hour strike on a rake bell. Revised mechanism, complete with its pendulum and key.
