"Enameled Porcelain Vase In The "famille Verte" Style From The Kangxi Period."
The very fine porcelain is covered with famille verte enamels. Decorated with palace scenes in reserves. Beautiful quality of execution. Silver mount. Protective box lined with silk and a very soft, fine skin, probably kid? This vase is certainly old, 1900 or before. It does not appear to be a Chinese creation, nor Japanese either. It could be European, but the designs appear to have been traced by an Asian artist. Good condition. Mount glued to plaster. Vase only: H 28cm Box: 34x18x17cm
