Charles Forget (1886 - 1960) painter, draftsman and engraver Throughout his life, he traveled the French countryside with his easel, his paint box and his drawing paper, on foot, by bicycle or by train. He also worked a lot indoors in his studio after having made sketches, watercolor drawings, washes on the ground, he confronted metal to engrave and produced numerous etchings. Exhibiting at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1922, his works have been found in many museums: Quebec, Carnavalet, Laval... oil on panel signed lower right.
