"38 Mm Le Verre Francais Charles Schneider Decor Necklaces 1927"
A large and superb 38cm French Art Deco cameo glass vase, 'Colliers' design, made by Maison Charles Schneider. Inscribed on the base: Le Verre Français, and on the side: Charder (= Charles Schneider).
This design was produced circa 1927-1928. It has acid-etched design of amethyst-coloured necklaces, on a pink and white speckled ground. A striking design, I must say!
Pontiled base.
Condition: Used but very good, with signs of wear consistent with age and use.
Approximate dimensions: Height: 38cm (14.9 inches) Base diameter: 14cm (5.5 inches)
