Antique Belgian Art Deco Silver/Gold Plated Powder Compact by Le Lorrain – 0.925 – Powder compact in the form of a magnificent silver box. Marked on the inside with the name of the Belgian house Le Lorrain as well as the fineness mark 0.925 (sterling silver). The box opens to reveal a remarkable interior. High quality silver design with gold plated elements, dating from the Art Deco period, circa 1920. The interior has three compartments and a lipstick holder: a refillable compartment for face powder a larger compartment for cigarettes a mirror compartment still containing its original comb Condition: Near mint, very beautiful, working mechanism. The original glass mirror shows signs of age, but remains in good condition. No dents. The interior is very well preserved. The large mirror has a small crack at the top left, barely visible and not distracting.
