Crystal Salt Bottle And Vermeil Mesh, Napoleon III Period
This large, flat, oval-shaped bottle is made of thick polished crystal adorned with an engraved and chiseled vermeil mesh. The hinged stopper is chiseled with flower and foliage motifs in oriental frames.
It has a removable emery crystal inner stopper.
Unhallmarked vermeil silver, tested with a touchstone.
Please note: Three slight dents on the vermeil stopper.
Superb condition, Napoleon III period circa 1860.
