Sliding Mirror, Silver Niello Pendant And Gold Monogrammed Cartouche, 19th Century
Silver sliding pendant mirror with Renaissance-inspired niello decoration on both sides.
One side features a grotesque mask in the center, surrounded by lambrequins and interlacing patterns.
The other has a monogram "TO" engraved on a rose gold cartouche. It has a yellow metal ring and a locking lug tested for 14-karat gold with a touchstone.
The interior is silver-gilt. The mirror is flawless and includes its mounting ring.
Hallmarks of a boar's head are present on the inside of each side.
Note: the upper ring is loose, and there is no bail.
