Art Nouveau Openwork Dragonfly Brooch
Here is a lovely Art Nouveau silver brooch with wings made of openwork plique-à-jour enamel in shades of pink, blue, and milky white.
The edges of the wings and the tips of the antennae are set with sparkling white crystals.
The thorax and eyes are set with pink garnet-colored cabochons.
The tip of the abdomen is set with five crystals in a gradient of peridot green.
The brooch features a fully functional hinged tube and C-clasp mechanism.
Marked “Sterling” on the back of one wing’s edge.
