Antique Rose Gold And Green Gold Pendant

Antique medallion from the Napoleon III period made up of fine palm chain links that support different motifs: two pompoms and their fringes in pink gold, dressed in chiseled green gold decorations; and in the center, a triangular motif dressed in chiseled green gold and which slides and supports a small medallion.
This antique pendant is decorated on the front with chisels and small flowers in pink and green gold applique and opens with a hinge on the side. It has a gold-rimmed glass inside to hold a souvenir.
Pendant sold alone without its presentation chain.

Period: 19th century
Main material: pink and green gold, 750 thousandths, 18 carats, eagle's head hallmark.
Proportions: Height: approximately 9 cm, width: approximately 1.5 cm, thickness: approximately 6.3 mm.
Net weight: approximately 11.5 g. Antique jewelry - French work from the second half of the 19th century.
Our opinion: This antique two-tone gold pendant was part of a much larger chain that was to be worn as a necklace or to support a watch. Today it has been transformed with a ring forming the bail.
