Art Deco Silver And Black Lacquer Glasses Case With Its Nose-glasses, 1920s
This beautiful case in the shape of an eyeglass or pince-nez is a refined piece from the Art Deco period. It is made of black lacquered silver, decorated in the center of the lid with a stylized silver monogram LT in a circle.
The push button releases the lid which rises thanks to a spring. It is lined with brown suede and contains a chrome pince-nez with a tortoiseshell nose guard. Rare piece!
Unhallmarked silver, tested with a touchstone.
