Armchair, Twisted Armchair With Reclining Lions, Renaissance / Louis XIII Style, 19th Century
Armchair worked in twists, Renaissance / Louis XIII style, made in the second half of the 19th century. This seat is decorated with lions lying in sphinxes on the armrests. The backrest is surmounted by two roaring lion muzzles. The base has a twisted H-shaped spacer. Our armchair is covered with a beautiful mechanical tapestry with floral decoration in very good condition, it has a studded finish. Upholstery in very good condition, seat rather firm and very comfortable.
