"Pair Of Patinated And Gilded Bronze Candelabras, Empire Period"
Pair of three-light candelabras in chased bronze, patinated and gilded with matte and shiny gold. Each candelabra depicts a Renown. It supports a crescent moon ending in two sockets. In its center, a floral garland held by two putti supports a lyre surmounted by the third socket. The whole is richly ornamented with a dog, two swans, foliage and wreaths of flowers, palmettes, acanthus leaves and laurel. It rests on a half-sphere supported by a cylindrical base on a terrace. Empire period work in very good condition.
