Pair Of Candlesticks In Gilt Bronze Louis XVI Period
Very beautiful pair of candlesticks in gilded bronze with matte and shiny gold with finely chiseled baluster shaft and a garland of falling laurel leaves. Each candlestick is topped with an antique vase-shaped binet and rests on a circular projection base. the whole has a decoration of grooves, garlands of laurel leaves and water leaves. Parisian work in a very good state of conservation of its original gilding.
