Pair Of Gilded Wood Mirrors And Sconces, Regency Period
A pair of Regency period carved and gilded wooden mirrors with two gilt bronze candelabra. Decorated with architectural elements surmounted by vases, acanthus scrolls, and floral garlands. Each mirror is carved, in its upper section, with a woman's face surmounted by a palmette, while in the lower section, a grotesque mask reveals two candelabra in chased and gilded bronze. (The wear on the nose will be restored by our workshops.) French work from the 17th century in fine condition.
