Seventeenth-century Indo-Portuguese cabinet in ivory
engraved veneer decorated with large flowering foliage and tortoiseshell.
Fitted with carrying handles, it opens to two leaves and a
cover revealing eight drawers and in the upper part,
a compartment containing a small mirror and a baguier on a
background embellished with flowers.
The back is adorned with geometrical figures in rosewood, tortoiseshell and ivory veneer.
Seventeenth-century work from northern India in very good condition with
restoration from use.
