Pair of carved and gilded bronze candlesticks from the Directoire period. Rich chiseled and guilloché decoration alternating with flat areas. Assembly with thick threads and assembly in two parts typical of bronze casting in the 18th century. One of the bases was dented and then straightened. Period late 18th century.
