Stool In Lacquered And Gilded Wood Italy Eighteenth Century
Italian stool, probably from Naples, in cream and gilt lacquered wood from the mid-18th century. Molded and carved with shells and wavy foliage, it rests on four arches ending in small balls. The scalloped seat is lined with a cane bottom. Louis XV period work. Italy, Naples, mid-18th century.
