Great Prisoner Folk Art, Double Carved Wood Frame, Flower Basin Decor, Early 20thc

Very beautiful object of folk art, a double-view frame, in solid wood. It is finely carved in high relief, with flowered basins, flowers and a stylized pediment. On the back the mention on an old label "made by a prisoner of the central prison of Nîmes... (the rest is illegible for me), old leather hook, missing, and many missing parts, clearly indicated on my detailed photos. The object must have been significantly higher. Very beautiful sculpture working, elegant and curious item, still very decorative.
French working, Nîmes, probably dating from the beginning of the 20th century.
