19th Century Pedestal Table Decorated With Satyr Heads
Oval pedestal table composed of a breccia marble top with a chiseled belt decorated with interlacing foliage on a night blue color background and satyr heads as connecting dice. It rests on four slightly curved uprights, decorated with foliate capitals, flower scrolls and finished in a sabot. The feet are joined by a gilded bronze spacer, finely chiseled with acanthus leaves and a laurel wreath with, in the center, a pine cone.
