A Crystal And Gold Enamel Salt Shaker, Mid-19th Century
A pear-shaped crystal and gold enamel salt cellar with ribbed edges, hinged and featuring a gold stopper. The cap, base, and neck are covered with very fine gold chasing, embellished with touches of red and white enamel in an oriental style. A gold ball adorns both ends of the cellar.
