Slightly flared silver and crystal candy dish, decorated on the edge with an openwork geometric frieze and on the belly, with motifs representing a spindle-shaped vase framed by confronting birds. These birds are tasting bunches of grapes escaping from the vase. Two handles decorated with women holding a palmette. The lid is topped with palms forming the grip. The base of the candy dish is decorated with a stylized palmette frieze and rests on four claw feet. Restoration period, circa 1820-1830.
