Rectangular enameled gold vinaigrette. The hinged lid is decorated with enamel on gold representing a view of an alpine lake with a mountain range in the background. The frame is decorated with fine wave guilloche framed by a floral frieze. The lid opens onto a pierced grid, finely crafted and decorated with foliage and foliage organized around a central rosette.
Probably Swiss work from the beginning of the 19th century.
