Circa 1850 France Dress in bronze and green changing silk dating from the end of the Louis Philippe period. Finely fitted waist with cannon pleats. Skirt fully lined with Indian fabric from the same period. Small original yoke in green taffeta on the front intended to be hidden under the apron. Lovely pleated ribbons applied to the sleeves. Original green braid buttons on the cuffs and bodice. Front closure with original hooks. Excellent condition of color and conservation.
