Louis XV Period Armchair, Crushed Velvet

Elegant armchair à la Reine in lacquered and rechampi wood (beech) finely carved and molded, Parisian work from the Louis XV period - mid-18th century, circa 1760. The upholstery has not been dismantled to observe the belt in search of a possible stamp that would allow this beautiful seat to be attributed. Beautiful Parisian work: balanced and elegant proportions, nervousness of the sculpture and more particularly the armrests, the connections of the front legs in florets as well as on the back and the belt. Our seat has been covered with a beautiful yellow-orange struck velvet in the Louis XV style. The fabric in house condition is in very good condition, without wear or stains. The seat is bright and very evocative of the lightness of the 18th century. The seat is in excellent condition, it has retained its original 18th century lacquer (chips and paint chips). No accidents or play. Width: 66cm Depth 60cm Height: 96cm Seat height: 41cm
