A Parisian porcelain sauce boat and lid from the Empire period, embellished with fine gold trim. An interesting model with side handles in the form of busts of Athena wearing an antique helmet. Early 19th century, circa 1800-1810. Unsigned, but attributable to the Schoelcher Manufactory. The set is in excellent, near-mint condition. The gilding is perfectly preserved with very slight wear; no damage. Length: 24.5 cm Width: 13.5 cm Height: 17.5 cm
