Beautiful pair of patinated bronze candelabras, chased and gilded with matte and bright mercury and turquoise blue marble.
Two beautiful bacchantes (recognized by their goat's head ornaments,symbol of Bacchus) carry three-branched light arms, adorned with scrolls and chains. Louis XVI period, late 18th century.
The model is particularly elegant, to be placed on a mantelpiece, console or chest of drawers.
Beautifully crafted, with fine gold gilding in matte and bright, vivid and finely hand-chiseled carving.
The set is in very good condition. The gilding is well preserved. Our candelabras are complete. Small restoration to the light arm, (localized alteration of the gilding on a scroll, it's discreet).
