Beautiful Directoire period armchair in waxed and patinated beech, circa 1795 This elegant seat has a straight back decorated with stars and a central cartouche surrounded by two inverted moon quarters. Sabre legs at the back, tapered front legs. This armchair is in very good condition, as is its upholstery. It does not have any covering fabric, except on the back. In fact, the previous owner removed the fabric that had been damaged, keeping the upholstery which is in very good condition. All that remains is to add the fabric of your choice.
