Born in Novara in Italy in 1860, Victor Aimone was active in Turin then in Paris in 1890, when his workshop was located at 16 rue de Vienne. Then, it was successively located at 37 rue de Rome in 1897 and at 5 rue Dareau in 1910. He participated in the Salons des Artistes Français from 1897 until the First World War. He gained great notoriety there, earning him several orders.
