Tahan Porcelain Jewelry Box, Paris, Late 19th Century Decorated with enameled flowers and foliage and curled with Bressan-type enamel beads. Gilded and chiseled bronze mount with 4 feet in the shape of acanthus leaves. Upholstered in silk taffeta. Unsigned, typical of the work of Jean-Pierre Tahan (1813-1892), cabinetmaker to Napoleon III.
