A rosewood shawl box with light wood veneer marquetry (possibly lemonwood), decorated with bouquets of flowers and foliage, bearing an antique shop label "[...] Fils Aîné - Nouveautés de Paris - Fontaine St Cristoly - Bordeaux", dating from the Napoleon III period, 19th century. This box is in good overall condition, superb quality. We do not have its key. Please note: some minor damage and missing pieces of stringing or wood (particularly in one corner), a crack in the bottom visible from the inside, some soiling (paint stains), scratches, and signs of age, see photos.
