"Carved Wooden Frame Coat Of Arms Quartered Crest North Flanders Engravings 19th Century"
Carved wooden frame decorated on the top with coats of arms in a shield: a quartered coat of arms (2: golden lion on a gules background / 3: three golden stars on an azure background / 4: golden band), most likely the coat of arms of Belgian families from Flanders (perhaps the former Austrian Netherlands), presenting engravings (2 men and 2 women) certainly of these families, beveled glass, from the 19th century. This frame is in good condition and is of good quality. The coats of arms presented are most likely coats of arms of families from the North of France / Flanders. For example, the coat of arms (2) "gules, with an armed golden lion" is reminiscent of the coat of arms of the Werbrouck family. Please note: coat of arms a little worn (part 1 hard to see), some humidity stains on the engravings, wear of time, see photos.
