Beautiful framed watercolor representing a bouquet of flowers on an entablature, signed A. Chaplin Arthur Charles Georges Chaplin (1869-1935), son of the painter Charles Chaplin and student of Charles Bonnat, he draws his inspiration from botany and Dutch still lifes from the 17th century th century of which he is a famous pasticheur and wonderful interpreter. Our watercolor is in good condition, although there is a small scratch on the paper (at the entablature). It is presented under glass in a gilded frame.
