Art Nouveau “le Portel” Hotel Bell Or Table Call

Beautiful late 19th / early 20th century Art Nouveau small hotel bell or table call, on a circular alabaster base. It is composed of 3 mother-of-pearl medallions, interleaved with a gilded brass embossed openwork decoration of flowers and vines. These elements protect the bell, which is coiled in their center. The bell is operated by a side clapper topped by a swallow.

Condition: alabaster chips in places. Slight indentations in the openwork brass crown.
