19th century design rug, beautifully made using a fine weave and delicate pattern.
This is a Ziegler rug, of a rare and timeless style. Very low cut hairs give you different shades depending on the angle. In order to give the Ziegler rug an original, worn look, the rug is sun-bleached and finished with stoneware.
Not only the worn look, but also the design with wide edges, attractive colors and centered patterns were adopted.
Thanks to its antique appearance, the Ziegler rug exudes a warm and lively atmosphere.
Dimensions: 406x296 cm
Condition: Good condition, four light stains in the first beige border (see the last photo), light dirt on the fringes (which give a worn effect).
