A Russian Bridal Sash In Embroidered Cotton Circa 1900-1930
Circa 1900-1930 Russia A Russian wedding ceremony scarf in very fine white cotton embroidered in polychrome cross stitch. At each end, a scene of sleighs harnessed to horses and a mention in Cyrillic alphabet, bordered with crochet lace. Some embroidery missing, but stole clean and without holes. Good general condition. Dimensions: 181 cm x 38 cm plus 11 cm of embroidery.
