Large-sized sheet.Extensive openwork embroidery, 7 cm wide, with the pattern repeatingon each side for 75 cm. Imposing monogram in richlyrelief, “C S,” measuring 16 x 16.5cm.
Two matching pillowcasesmeasuring 62.5 x 61 cm, fastening with 4 buttons.
Decorative design in one corner covering ¼ of thesurface of the pillowcase, measuring 30 x 30 cm. Monogram: 7 x 7 cm.
Heavily openwork designdepicting flowers and waves; the entire piece is accented with aVenetian lace border.
Made around 1900 during theArt Nouveau period.
