Napoleon III Period Rocking Chair, Spring System, Rocking Chair, 19th Century
Comfortable rocking chair in natural wood from the Napoleon III period, second half of the 19th century. This seat is a real invitation to relaxation. Its clever rocking system mounted on large springs allows you to be rocked very lightly in an extremely discreet and very pleasant way. The sensation is very different from modern rocking chairs which can sometimes give the unpleasant feeling of going too far back. This is indeed a pleasant rocking that is easy to master. The woodwork of our seat is in very good condition, as is the rocker/spring system. The seat is quite firm and covered in an old gold yellow fabric with some discreet minor traces of use.
