Circa 1925 France Charleston ball dress in Fuschia pink cotton voile embroidered with white tubular glass beads and dating from the Roaring Twenties. Embroidered and vermiculated background giving a sandblasted effect. Flowing dress with straight cut and low waist on the hips, point collar and sleeveless. Very Art Deco geometric effect obtained by aligned embroidery of translucent pearls marking the collar, chest and hips. Scalloped and crenellated ruffles ending in a point giving a bowling effect. Unlined dress and no underdress. Bolduc indicating Made in France. No brand or label but entirely embroidered and sewn by hand. No missing beads, very good structure of the durable cotton voile background. Excellent condition of color and conservation.
