19 th Century umbrella. The silk was changed identically by the Heurtault parasol factory, specialist in the restoration of old parasols and creator of haute couture umbrellas. Gold metal ring which allows the parasol to be folded in two, this allowed at the time to ride in a carriage without being encumbered by a too long parasol. It is in perfect condition and can be used. It measures 17,71 inches in diameter, 24,21 inches long and 13,78 inches long when folded in half. France, circa 1850.
